I believe that the counselor-client relationship should be one of therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and respect. My work is focused on helping clients change their lives for the better, grow self-confidence, take charge of their mental health, and build healthy relationships. My overall approach supports radical acceptance and eliciting change through the therapeutic experience. I use an integrative approach that is best trailered to each client’s individual needs. This includes evidenced-based interventions including trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. My goal as a clinician is to help clients create long-lasting change in their everyday life.
