Introduction

Does motherhood feel harder than you ever imagined? Do you find yourself wondering if you’re doing something wrong, feeling disconnected, or overwhelmed by emotions that you didn’t expect? Many women silently struggle with guilt, shame, or thoughts they feel they need to hide. It can feel isolating when everyone assumes you should be joyful, but inside, you’re anxious, exhausted, and unsure of yourself. You’re not alone, and these feelings are more common than you think. What if it didn't have to feel this way? Imagine being able to sleep when your baby sleeps, no longer experiencing racing thoughts and questioning every decision, feeling more confident in your choices, feeling more connected to your baby, and more supported by those around you. What if you could reclaim your joy and feel more like yourself again? With the right support, this is possible. You deserve to feel heard and validated, and you deserve practical tools to help you get there. Too often perinatal mental health symptoms are brushed off as a natural part of the process that everyone goes through, like a right of passage. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore. Treatment is available and is effective. Whether you’re unsure if you are experiencing the baby blues, experiencing adjustment challenges, experiencing grief, relationship challenges or dealing with perinatal depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or bipolar disorder, I’m here to help you heal. I specialize in women's health, which includes reproductive health (preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, loss, gestational diabetes), sleep problems, vaginismus and painful sex, urinary incontinence, chronic pain, pelvic pain, menopause and perimenopause, and complications associated with long covid. I utilize evidenced based behavioral strategies to support management of symptoms. I have worked on medical outpatient clinics and inpatients hospitals in collaboration with medical teams to offer a whole health approach to treatment and can work with your providers at your discretion. I offer both brief and longer-term therapy and work with clients to offer flexible scheduling, timing, frequency, and duration of appointments to make a plan that is effective, accessible, and affordable. I offer a culturally sensitive, inclusive and judgement free space where you can be vulnerable and find real solutions. My approach is warm, empathetic, and practical. I incorporate evidence-based methods and an understanding of the inquire challenges of reproductive health. We’ll work at your pace to create a plan that fits your life, and if you’ve never had mental health treatment before, I’m here to guide you through the process and hopefully help make this next step feel less scary. Reach out, and let’s take that first step together—you don’t have to do this alone. Together, we’ll work through your feelings and help you regain control of your life. Each session will provide you with actionable tools that you can begin using immediately to feel better.
