Introduction

Congratulations on taking the first step towards your improved mental health. Thank you for taking Empowered Healing into consideration. A big part of therapy is developing a trusting and open relationship with your therapist. At Empowered Healing, therapy starts with building a safe and meaningful connection with a genuine and compassionate regard. Dr. Placencia is a Community Mental Health Professional and Licensed Clinical Psychologist based out of California. She has developed a specialty in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and phase of life issues such as pregnancy/postpartum, parenting, relationship issues and loss. Her approach is gentle but collaborative and goal-oriented. She will help you explore important early experiences to reveal adopted inner messages and maladaptive habits. Dr. Placencia is providing telehealth sessions to help service the busy student, professional, or parent/caretaker who is ready to take better control of their mental health. Telehealth is an important platform that allows Empowered Healing to bridge the gap for those unable to attend an in-person session but still prepared to take their care seriously. Sessions are conducted over a secured video-conference program for the duration of treatment. Limited appointment slots are available most weekday evenings.
