COUPLES THERAPY I focus my practice on couples who are struggling with emotional regulation, conflict, sex, intimacy, and boundary issues. Many of the couples I work with are navigating complex dynamics related to sexuality, substance use, neurodiversity, identity exploration, and life transitions. Therapy can help you feel more secure in your relationship, organize emotions, and evolve thinking and behavioral patterns that are no longer helpful. We’ll work together to improve your emotional awareness and communication, so that conflict reduces and instead becomes an opportunity to build trust. Through practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman, Non Violent Communication, and Attachment Theory, I guide couples through emotional regulation, negotiating needs, and intimacy. Over time, you’ll notice that micro-moment between feeling and response stretch out, allowing you to make more thoughtful choices in your relationship. My goal is for you and your partner to experience each other in new ways, so you can not only show up differently in your relationship, but actually feel differently over time. TEEN/ADULT INDIVIDUAL THERAPY My individual clients often come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, uncertain about their external circumstances, or frustrated with old ways of being that no longer serve them. Whether you’re experiencing relationship stress, grief, burnout, identity conflict, or navigating challenging life transitions, our work together can help you organize your emotions and give you the resources to try something different. Informed by frameworks like Attachment Theory, Parts Work, mindfulness, and Interpersonal Neurobiology, I help individuals develop identity-congruence, resilience, and more fulfilling relationship dynamics. Through this work, I will support you in developing secure attachment with yourself. A little about me, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) and I specialize in couples and relational therapy. I studied Couples and Family Therapy at Seattle University, and much of my post-graduate training is centered on helping couples navigate emotional regulation, conflict, and intimacy issues. I specialize in working with a wide range of relationship structures and welcome all identities and lived experiences. My approach integrates evidence-based practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help clients slow down, deescalate conflict, and cultivate emotional safety. Whether working with individuals or couples, my goal is to help you build more joyful relationships with your self and loved ones. When I'm not doing therapy, I’m likely searching for sun exposure, treasure hunting in thrift stores, moving around in the gym, riding my bike around the city, sharing quality time with the people I love, or reading too many books at once.
