Introduction

Welcome, I'm glad you're here! Are you wanting a deeper connection to yourself and others? Do you feel overwhelmed or stuck at times in your life or relationships? Do you wish you had more compassionate support in processing what you've gone through? If you answered yes to any of these, we may be a good fit. Starting therapy can be an important step into self-awareness and relational healing which is why I work with clients to cultivate a trusted, empathetic space for the exploration of their lives, relationships, and experiences. I believe that we need to feel witnessed and validated in all parts of ourselves as lasting positive change happens through the lens of compassion, not shame. My approach is empathetic and collaborative as I work to understand your experiences, relationships, trauma, identities, and what larger social and generational systems impact you. As someone who holds both privileged and marginalized identities, I acknowledge and continue to examine how my identities intersect with and impact my clients and how we discuss the systems of oppression that impact our mental health and wellness. I hold an M.S. in Counseling from Portland State University with a specialty focus on systems, attachment and relationships. For Spring and Summer 2024, I am also a supervisor for some of the new counseling students in practicum at PSU. Additionally, I hold an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Development from Loyola University in Maryland. In my work with individuals, I use elements of Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, skill development and interpersonal awareness that become the framework of the work we do together to help you better understand yourself and your relationships. With relationships, monogamous and non-monogamous, I use a similar interpersonal approach to help my clients through relational exploration, conflict resolution and creating deeper connections. When I'm not being a therapist, you can find me around Portland, spending time in nature, and enjoying time with my family, friends and my sweet dog. Inclusive Connections Counseling offers trauma-informed, culturally responsive, community-centered therapy that is affirming of queer, trans, and neurodivergent populations. Offering telehealth appts anywhere in Oregon. Currently, I am not offering in-person sessions. To join my waitlist for upcoming services & consultations, please reach out.
