Lisa is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is committed to providing a compassionate and non-judgmental environment for clients to grow and heal from difficult life experiences. Her interests include working with adult individuals, couple’s counseling, pre-marital counseling, stress reduction, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, communication skills, trauma recovery, PTSD, crises of faith, and integrating lifestyle and wellness strategies for a holistic approach to emotional wellbeing. As the spouse of a retired Marine Corps veteran, Lisa can relate to the military culture and the unique demands placed on service members and their families. Her counseling approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, attachment science approaches, mindfulness practices, and emotionally focused therapy techniques.
