I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia, working in private practice. I have also served on the Board of Directors for the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of GA (LPCA-GA) in the capacity of President for 2018-19 and Immediate Past-President for 2019-20. Prior to that, I served as President-Elect for 2017-18 and 4 terms as the Western District Chair and Co-Chair for LPCA-GA. LPCA-GA is the state chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA). Additionally, I am certified through the International Trauma Training Institute as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Practitioner (CMHIMP), certified through the Mental Health Integrative Medicine Institute. I am also certified by LPCA-GA as a Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), where I provide Clinical Supervision for those seeking full licensure as an LPC in Georgia. I work with all sorts of populations, but I feel that my strengths lie in working with young adults, adults, teens, pre-teens, parenting issues, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma and anyone going through a challenging life transition or existential crisis. I offer sessions both face to face & online through video on my client portal. I love being a Psychotherapist because I have the honor of hearing my clients stories. Each day I learn something new from clients and I hope that they are learning from me as well. Every day I am amazed at the strength and courage my clients have shown in their lives and I am honored at being invited into those stories and asked for guidance and clarity.
