Lisa Sanchez

Hi there and thank you for considering me! My name is Lisa. Along with 17 years of professional experience, I have my Master of Professional Counseling and am currently working towards full licensure as an LPC-MHSP. I have been married since 1991 and have 3 grown children. I am passionate about supporting and helping my clients in healing through difficult times and periods of feeling stuck. Asking for help can be difficult and scary, but I can assure you that I will always be a Safe Place for you to share your thoughts and feelings freely. Because I know the benefits of speaking with someone, I’m so excited to start this healing journey with you. My clinical supervision is conducted by Stephanie Grissom of Full Circle Counseling of TN, LPC-MHSP. I am a musician, I love to go on coffee dates and being outside. By nature, I am calming and relational, allowing my clients to feel like you can share your true selves and difficult feelings with me. I don’t rush the process, I work at your pace. Taking my time to engage with my clients builds a trusted rapport. Once trust has been established, my experience will help my clients in working on negative thinking, control issues, perfectionism, low self esteem and self-worth issues and dealing with conflicting religious feelings and beliefs. With adolescents, I can help with peer pressure, bullying, self harm, suicidal ideations, inappropriate sexual behavior specifically pertaining to social media and sexual orientation.
