Livia Kubica graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters in Social Work and is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Livia has received specialized training in Formational Prayer and Healing Care Groups through Healing Care Ministries and has obtained her Advanced Certificate in Formational Prayer. This Formational Care is offered through Made New Ministries at Awaken & Abide as a pastoral ministry, with Livia serving in a pastoral rather than a professional/clinical role. Her role in this Formational Care includes spiritual direction, formational prayer, and pastoral care. Rooted in the deep belief that genuine wholeness comes through healing encounters with Jesus Christ, Livia also draws upon proven practices from traditional counseling and emerging research in neuroscience for a holistic, non-clinical, trauma-informed approach to care.
