Introduction

My hope as a therapist is to help clients learn to listen to their inner voice, act in accordance with their values, and transform their existence by accessing their inner resilience. I help clients connect with their love and respect for themselves, as well as find new strategies for coping. As a clinical psychologist with over 15 years experience, I have provided care for people with all kinds of presenting problems, from anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder and trauma disorders. I value providing affirmative care to members of diverse communities, including the LGBTQIA+ community and people of color. My approach to treatment is generally based in cognitive behavioral therapy, drawing from mindfulness, feminist therapy, and minority stress therapy. Treatment for members of the transgender community is provided in accordance with the WPATH standards of care. Letters of support for hormone therapy and gender confirmation surgery are available. I accept referrals nationally, and I offer telehealth appointments to clients in most states, including Missouri and Illinois. To see if your state participates, visit https://www.psypact.org/psypactmap. Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) under the PSYPACT Commission. APIT first issued 6/30/2022. Mobility Number# 11593.
