Introduction

I am a queer caregiver/social worker/coach/educator/advocate. I believe everyone has their own story to tell and that no one can determine that narrative except them. I started in special education while my kids were young, moved to community mental health while working on my bachelor's degree, and now have worked with a disruptive behavior clinic for two years. In all, I have over 15 years of experience. I recently finished my Master of Social Work and am working towards licensure. I specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community with sex-positive guidance and gender-affirming care. I also support caregivers with behaviors, understanding LGBTQIA+ children, and special education services. I approach my clients from a partner perspective, I want to work alongside you in your path to realizing you are capable of much more than you think. I offer a non-judgmental space to further your knowledge and ask the hard questions. I will challenge your thoughts empathetically, listen, and challenge myself in our work. Chingona is a slang Spanish word for "Bad*ss Woman" which is something I want all my clients to feel about themselves, regardless of gender. A "Bad*ss person". I will help you find your roots to ground yourself in your work as well as giving you the confidence to "fly".
