Introduction

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Georgia and a BA in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. I believe in the healing power of listening deeply, providing empathy, and giving people the tools to balance acceptance and change in their lives. I use a person-centered approach and enjoy working with a diverse client population. I am skilled in several treatment modalities and am a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. I work with each of my clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that incorporates skill building and insight into their unique situation. I have experience providing services in a variety of settings including private practice, home-based services, community-based services, hospitals, women's shelters, and crisis lines. If you are struggling with a problem that feels overwhelming, if you feel anxious, depressed, or uncertain, please know that you do not have to face this challenge alone. I would be honored to help.
