(she/her/hers) Telehealth - Virtual Appointments Only Lori is a warm and genuine person who understands that we all may experience emotional struggles at some stage in our life. These struggles may create challenging symptoms of stress that are difficult to manage. Lori offers a safe and empathetic space for clients to process their feelings and emotions using a client centered approach. She is committed to helping clients reach a level of resolution using cognitive behavioral strategies to help clients learn positive coping skills and regain a sense of control in their lives. She works to help clients understand the importance of self-care and positive thinking to navigate the stressful waters of life. Realizing that we cannot always fix our problems, she feels learning to manage the associated stress can be life altering and lead to better outcomes for her clients. Lori has worked extensively with various client populations including children and families with a focus on resolving family conflict. Additionally, Lori has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression as a result of trauma or a major life change. Additionally, she is an ally of marginalized populations and those who are impacted by systemic racism by helping those individuals gain a feeling of enhanced self-worth and empowerment. Lori is a licensed master social worker in the State of Delaware who has over 20 years of experience as a therapist in the mental health field. She studied at Salisbury University where she received an M.Ed. in Psychology.
