Hello, I’m Lori Smith, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a veteran. While my military experience holds a special place in my heart, I’m passionate about helping all individuals navigate life’s challenges to find greater peace, resilience, and fulfillment. My journey into social work began with a deep interest in understanding human behavior and a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients through various emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. In addition, I have experience addressing the unique complexities that can arise from military service. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques, I tailor treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and develop effective coping strategies that support long-term well-being. Whether you’re seeking help for a specific issue or looking for deeper personal growth, I’m here to guide you on your journey.
