Throughout my career in community mental health facilities and now in private practice, I have helped many culturally and clinically diverse populations find clarity and courage to heal and create a life they deserve. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, safe and collaborative space in which clients feel seen, heard, understood, validated, supported, and empowered. In a world that is often filled with discrimination and marginalization, I strive to provide culture affirming and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapy. I am dedicated to helping people overcome trauma, anxiety, shame, self-criticism, perfectionism, and relationship issues. My therapeutic method encompasses a comprehensive and integrative approach, incorporating mindfulness principles to foster holistic well-being. I work from a polyvagal and trauma-informed perspective and utilize modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).
