Introduction

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, taking the first step to seek therapy can be scary, but the fact that you are taking that first step demonstrates courage and strength. I am a dedicated mental health therapist committed to meeting you at this first step, creating a safe, nurturing space where every individual feels heard, valued, and understood. I hold a Master of the Art's in Human Development and Counseling from The George Washington University, and I am a licensed professional counselor in Virginia and Colorado. My professional journey has been enriched by ongoing education and certifications in areas such as (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and play therapy). These qualifications equip me with the tools to support children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to behavioral struggles and trauma. I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate emotional challenges and enhance their coping skills. No matter the age you are, the role you hold, or the challenges you are navigating- YOU deserve support. I believe in a holistic and integrative approach to therapy. I utilize play therapy and expressive arts for children to create a safe environment where they can express themselves and process their emotions. I employ techniques from Dialectical  Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for adults to encourage self-reflection and personal growth. My experience spans across various settings (schools, hospitals, community health, private practice), where I have addressed a broad spectrum of mental health issues. My goal is always to adapt my methods to fit each client's unique needs, whether child, adolescent, or adult. It's an honor and privilege to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to process your experiences, learn or further develop your unique strengths and coping skills, and foster resilience, growth, and emotional well-being. Please don't hesitate to reach out—I am ready to walk alongside you every step of the way.
