Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, Taking the first step to seek therapy can be scary, but the fact that you are accepting that first step shows courage and strength. My intention is to meet you at this first step, offering a warm, empathetic, and genuine approach. Therapy takes work and vulnerability. I imagine you in the driver's seat and me in the passenger seat, with you every step of the way, holding the map and offering guidance and support, but understanding that the real growth comes from you. No matter the age you are, the role you hold, or the challenges you are navigating- YOU deserve support. I believe in a holistic and integrative approach to therapy. I utilize play therapy and expressive arts for children to create a safe environment where they can express themselves and process their emotions. I employ techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for adults to encourage self-reflection and personal growth. My goal is always to adapt my methods to fit each client's unique needs, whether child, adolescent, or adult. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and Colorado. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which enables me to provide comprehensive care for my clients. My training and experiences have equipped me to work effectively with diverse populations. It's an honor to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to grow, process experiences, increase awareness and insight, identify patterns that no longer serve them, and support them as they navigate change
