I believe in providing compassionate and personalized therapy to support individuals through various life transitions. I grew up on a 52 Acre Farm in rural Maine. I was blessed to grow up surrounded by nature and animals large and small. I spent much of my time as an adolescent riding and caring for horses. It was my deep love and connection with animals that helped foster and grow my compassion for all living things. I am also an international adoptee. I spent much of my adolescence and teen years questioning my identity and trying to understand who I was in a family system where genetics was not a variable any of us had in common. This uncertainty swept me through some chaotic teenage and young adult years during which time I learned hard lessons about trust and love and that nurture is just as powerful as nature. Looking back, I am grateful for the self-exploration my past has gifted me and the wisdom that I can now pull from lived experience of trauma and transitions. I am a wife and a mother to two wonderful children. In my free time I am an avid reader, and I enjoy writing, spending time with family and three dogs. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Southern Maine and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of New England. I am currently furthering my education through Sexual Health Alliance.
