My goal with my clients is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to explore stories left untold. I am passionate about meeting people where they are, giving them practical tools to help in the short-term, while simultaneously addressing the underlying core of the problem. I adjust my approach to therapy based of my clients needs, though primarily working through a person-centered, trauma-informed lens. By utilizing mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, and body neutrality I intend to help connect body, past and emotions to help find a strong sense of self. I mainly work with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, adhd, body image concerns, and trauma. Through creating a safe space, I intend to help you explore what trauma is stored in your body, and how to get to a place where love and acceptance of yourself is second nature. I am fat and LBGTQIA+ affirming, and truly cannot wait to help guide your internal narrative into that of a positive one.
