The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination." Carl Rogers Together, the client and therapist can work toward healing, growth, and change. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and other life challenges. I engage each client using an eclectic approach, based on each client's goals, strengths, preferences, and specific needs. Among the techniques, I use most frequently are solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and EMDR. I believe in a collaborative approach to treating clients, working with other health care professionals and community resources to provide the most comprehensive treatment possible.
