As a psychotherapist, I love the opportunity to connect with others in a compassionate and meaningful way while supporting people in their healing journeys. The therapeutic process makes space for all of you by creating more flexibility in the ways one connects to others, the self and the world. It also includes learning how these relationships and environments have impacted you and influence behavior. My orientation is psychodynamic, relational/cultural and trauma informed. I believe that trauma informed treatment, including body oriented interventions, compassion and a resource based focus are integral parts of coming home to the self. I incorporate these into my work with clients in a collaborative and respectful way. You can expect me to be compassionate and curious, to use humor when appropriate and directness when needed. I love working with mothers, teens/ women wanting better relationships to food and body, folks who struggle with chronic illness, those challenged with depression and anxiety, those wanting to explore their relationship to whiteness and privilege and those wanting more connected relationships.
