She firmly believes in the resiliency of all people, and the ability to make positive change. Once Lynny completed graduate school she found she was able to empathize with youth on a very personal level due to her own struggles she faced growing up, as well as adults trying to heal from their childhood trauma. Like many people, Lynny had many trials with her large blended family growing up and wished she had someone who could have helped her navigate those struggles in a healthy way. Because of this, Lynny has dedicated much of her career to providing a guiding hand to youth in order to build the skills necessary to become successful adults and manage their mental wellbeing. She has also spent a significant amount of time helping adults recover from their internal childhood wounds. As a result from working with teens for many Lynny’s has developed expertise in working with parents to help provide them the support and guidance they need in raising their children. As an adult Lynny has had trials of her own. Lynny dedicated two years of her life to do her own therapy to overcome these obstacles in her life. She has experienced and believes in therapy and the power it has to transform lives for the better. Some of the hardest times in her life have been death of loved ones and her painful divorce. After much work, she was able to navigate the grief and loss and the heart wrenching feeling of sadness that she experienced during this time. Remembering the feelings of hopelessness has allowed Lynny to help clients who have experienced similar suffering. She is living proof that you can recover and come out of the darkness to reclaim your light.
