Introduction

I help BIPOC men and LGBTQIA individuals overcome stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma by taking a whole person approach, focusing on body, mind, self, and spirit. I listen to your story with empathy and respect, integrating it into our sessions for healing. Using evidence-informed care tailored to your needs, I incorporate proven interventions through research informed therapy. I provide concise and effective therapy to help individuals overcome stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. By incorporating a holistic approach that considers the body, mind, self, and spirit, I aim to understand your unique story. With as few as 8-12 evidence-informed sessions, I can provide relief and additional support guided by your care concierge. It all began with an idea! Evidence-based care focused on outcomes specific to the needs of the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities. Born out of necessity, I founded Diverse Practice on this principle. Most current models of care and treatment protocols were never designed with the needs of BIPOC or LGBTQ+ clients in mind—vaguely, if ever, at all, aligning with the unique needs, culture, or values of each of these cohorts—while missing or discounting our resilience and shared experience.
