I am a compassionate and dedicated bilingual (English-Tagalog) registered associate marriage and family therapist. My guiding motto is, "You'll never know what you can do unless you give your all to find out." This reflects my deep belief in the transformative power of self-understanding and how it can enrich our relationships and help us navigate life's challenges. By blending Psychodynamic Theory with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I strive to gain a heartfelt understanding of my clients' journeys. Together, we explore how their past experiences shape their present actions and decisions, fostering insight and growth. In addition to my primary approach, I have trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective method for supporting clients dealing with PTSD. I also incorporate together a variety of therapeutic models, such as Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, Inner Child Work, Structural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to cater to each individual's unique needs. I earned my master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Hope International University in Fullerton, where I learned to offer both secular and Christian-based therapy. I warmly welcome clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood and personality disorders, substance use issues, postpartum struggles, marital and relational conflicts, and parenting difficulties. As an immigrant myself, I have a special understanding of the challenges that come with moving to a new place. I am here to support those who may be feeling lonely or homesick, helping them navigate the overwhelming changes they face on their journey toward finding joy and connection in their new lives. Your story matters, and I am honored to walk alongside you in this process.
