Introduction

Hello, my name is Mackenzie (they/them) and I am a Non-Binary, Queer, Licensed Professional Counselor in Boise, Idaho. I enjoy supporting adults and adolescents as they begin to address difficult aspects of their lives, past or present. The counseling process encourages self-reflection, which often leads to a more grounded and meaningful life. I am passionate about blending the needs and preferences of each client into sessions; your unique life experiences will help direct our work together. By the end of our sessions, I want to have supported your goals, helped you identify strengths and values, and assisted you in establishing meaningful resources that will continue to support you. I work from a person-centered, mindfulness-informed, and trauma-informed and focused lens by prioritizing your lived experienced and identified needs. Through our work together, you may begin to identify values, mindfully engage in life and relationships, and experience a more adaptive life. I aim to provide everyone with a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Providing a culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming space is highly important to me as a therapist. I am committed to supporting folx through new stressors and fears. I am honored to be included in a part of your journey toward wellness, and I look forward to meeting with you.
