Meet the Therapist Maddy is a passionate counselor who has always had an innate desire to help people overcome their challenges and find a sense of peace and fulfillment in their lives. Maddy’s approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a deep commitment to client-centered care. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is built on trust, honesty, and collaboration, and works closely with her clients to develop treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and goals. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes) and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from West Texas A&M University, Maddy completed her graduate internship and began her journey to opening Evergreen Counseling and Wellness. She quickly developed a reputation for her warm and empathetic approach, as well as her ability to connect with clients on a deep and meaningful level. Maddy loves working with individuals from all walks of life and is certified as a Level 1 Restoration Therapist. Throughout her time as a clinician Maddy has worked with clients experiencing grief, anxiety, trauma, depression, and body image issues. Maddy is currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas and is supervised by Heidi Borden, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S, LPC/ LPCC. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and exploring new places. She is deeply committed to her work as a counselor, and feels privileged to be able to make a positive difference in the lives of those she works with.
