My name is Madeleine Silverstein and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, families and adults, utilizing an integrative approach to address issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD/Neurodiversity, relationship/interpersonal challenges, life transitions, behavioral challenges, parenting issues, and family conflict. I bring warmth, compassion, humor and empathy to the therapeutic relationship, and I honor and prioritize the development of trust as a necessary foundation for successful treatment. I will create a comfortable atmosphere where you can feel safe and empowered to share your thoughts and feelings freely without fear of judgment. In working with me, you will be able to identify your strengths, gain a deep understanding of the themes in your life, and gain insight into the events, dynamics, patterns and unhealthy coping skills that may be keeping you stuck. Using the most innovative, research backed techniques, I will provide you with concrete skills and tools that will help you achieve your goals and create lasting change. I have a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. I have been able to work in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient hospital, home based treatment, residential treatment, schools, and outpatient treatment programs. Within these settings, I have worked with multiple client populations and gained expertise in the utilization of trauma informed CBT, DBT, mindfulness, behavior therapy, parent training, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
