For all of us, life is full of highs and lows. Therapy itself isn’t going to change that fact. What therapy can offer, however, is new insight into the kind of life you’d like to be living—one guided by your own unique worldview, values, and sense of purpose. Once your daily routines become more aligned with your worldview, you may find that life’s lows don’t feel quite as low and life’s highs don’t feel nearly as scarce. As people living in the twenty-first century, we don’t have unlimited power to shape our lives exactly how we may want to, but therapy can offer a chance to get in touch with the agency you do have and provide you with a comfortable space to practice using it.
