It’s 3 AM, and you’re replaying the day’s events, worrying about loved ones, and dreading tomorrow—all while blaming yourself. This nightly struggle doesn’t define you. We can reshape your self-narrative, guiding you toward self-acceptance and inner peace. I work with adults to address unresolved pain and trauma, overthinking, and fractured relationships with themselves, keeping in mind the impact of injustice and oppression. With a special focus on the mind-body connection, I aim to help you navigate challenges, develop effective self-care strategies, and challenge negative thinking patterns, creating a more peaceful, fulling life. I center a strong therapeutic relationship and approach our work through a culturally sensitive lens, prioritizing your safety and comfort. Using themes from mindfulness CBT, narrative therapy, and some somatic work, together we can reimagine past experiences, tackle negative thinking, and help you feel more at home in your body. Confronting pain and negative self-perception can be overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe place to explore your challenges, foster resilience, and develop a healthier relationship with yourself. Counseling should be a meaningful and transformative experience.
