On the outside, you look like you’ve got it all figured out and everyone wonders how you manage to do it all. On the inside, you feel like a jumbled mess and have no idea how you’re going to keep it all going for much longer. You’re so used to taking care of everyone else and putting yourself last, if you’re even on your own list at all. I bet you’re having trouble sleeping and difficulty remembering what you even ate yesterday (did you even eat yesterday?). Or maybe you’re a new mom; feeling overwhelmed, maybe more irritable than usual but that’s from the lack of sleep, isn’t it? Those intrusive thoughts of something happening to your baby are just new mom anxieties, aren’t they? The hormones will balance out and you’ll feel better soon... right? As a mom to a soon-to-be 3-year-old, I remember those thoughts and feelings all too well. I also remember the feelings of going back to work, the delicate dance to try to balance work and family and still have some sort of a social life, and the struggle to feel like I was still me. I can tell you that it does get better once you ask for help (and it is SO okay to need and ask for help!), and I’m here to help moms get through those tough times and feel better on the other side of them. Anxiety, depression, stress, postpartum concerns, grief, substance use issues… I’m here for it all and all the less talked about in-betweens. With over 8 years of experience, I’m here to help you feel comfortable and safe to be open and share your story. I work to provide a protected, comfortable, and non-judgmental space for you to be able to identify what is most concerning so we can work together to help you figure out what is best for you. I want to help you learn new skills and ways of looking at situations so that you will be more capable of overcoming challenges on your own. Contact me today so we can get started on your journey to overcoming challenges and gaining greater overall wellbeing!
