Introduction

Hi, I’m Maham Tariq, the founder of Manzil Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. I specialize in trauma and grief therapy, guiding individuals and couples through transitions with care and understanding. My approach is warm, compassionate, and rooted in a trauma-informed framework, with a focus on empowerment, resilience, and personal growth. I work closely with BIPOC communities and have a deep understanding of the impact of systemic oppression, cultural identity struggles, and generational trauma. My goal is to help you break free from limiting patterns and reconnect with your true, authentic self. I provide support for trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, cultural healing, and life transitions using a variety of therapeutic approaches—including Trauma-Focused Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. In couples therapy, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen their connection. I create a supportive, open space where you can explore your emotions and grow. If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Together, we can work toward lasting, meaningful change.
