Maia works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and communication issues, and specializes her practice in early life transitions and unprocessed trauma. She understands the unique set of struggles that come with working in a helping profession and has extensive experience working with educators, caretakers, and healers. She is extremely passionate about creating a space for people who spend much of their time and energy caring for others. She believes in providing a space of radical non-judgement that celebrates each part of her clients identity and their intersections. She works from a trauma-informed lens in order to examine how life experiences shape an individual’s reality and core relationships. Maia uses a warm and gentle, but informative approach to invite her clients to explore their own mind from a new perspective by asking thoughtful questions and drawing attention to unrecognized patterns.
