I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I specialize in working with Adults, Older Adults, and Caregivers. I received my Masters in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Kuvempu University in India and have completed a Program in The Science and Application of Positive Psychology from Harvard Extension School. I have over 10 years of clinical experience in a broad range of mental health settings including outpatient, residential, and inpatient environments. Outside my private practice, I'm a staff clinician at McLean Hospital providing DBT skills group training and trauma-focused treatment in the Adult Outpatient Clinic. My collaborative approach, along with evidence-based treatments - Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), and Positive Psychology, has helped clients strengthen their ability to overcome difficult situations, and has given them the confidence to create happier, healthier relationships with themselves and in various spheres of their lives. Our sessions together will help you better manage relationships or family conflict, work- or school-related stress, parenting or caregiver stress, grief/loss, and major transitions. I offer evening appointments and free initial consultations for those interested in learning more.
