Introduction

My Professional Journey: I believe my work as a relationship coach is enriched by a unique blend of personal and professional insights. With a background as both a physician and a relationship coach, along with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring a deep understanding of human behavior and relational dynamics into my coaching practice. This combination of expertise allows me to support my clients in both the emotional and practical aspects of building healthier relationships. Personal Experiences that Shape my Work: As a queer woman in recovery from addiction, I’ve experienced a long and transformative journey of self-discovery. My own healing process involved working through childhood trauma, complex family dynamics, grief, loss, and understanding my own neurodiversity. These personal experiences allow me to connect authentically with clients and offer an empathetic approach that’s grounded in real-life challenges and triumphs. From Addiction to Recovery: My addiction journey began as a response to feelings of overstimulation and stress, which led me to a place where I felt disconnected from both myself and those I loved. However, the "gift of desperation" led me to seek support, and through years of recovery, including Alcoholics Anonymous and individual coaching, I regained my sense of self. I discovered that addiction not only affects the individual but also deeply impacts relationships. This realization solidified my belief that healthy relationships can be the foundation for healing. I am passionate about helping others experience this same transformation in their own lives. Counseling for Couples: Coaching couples is about more than resolving conflict; it's about helping partners build a solid foundation of connection, communication, and trust. I focus on empowering couples to address emotional distance, betrayal, and the unique challenges that can arise from addiction. With empathy and practical tools, I help couples find their way back to each other, rebuild trust, and cultivate a healthier relationship that fosters individual and shared growth. Supporting Couples Facing Addiction 💔: Addiction can introduce deep emotional rifts into a relationship, leaving partners feeling isolated and mistrustful. In my relationship coaching work with couples impacted by addiction, I focus on helping them rebuild trust and create a safe, open environment where both partners can heal and grow.
