Introduction

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the lasting effects of trauma? Do anxiety, depression, stress, or physical illness seem to have taken control of your life? Does it feel like you can’t catch a break, or that you’re stuck in one area of life and unable to move forward? Trauma can stay with us, deeply affecting the body, causing us to engage in fight-or-flight responses even when we’re at rest. Trauma can manifest in various ways, including anxiety, depression, feelings of isolation, panic disorders, and even suicidal thoughts. While the support of loved ones can be helpful, it’s often not enough. Trauma can seep into our relationships, work, and even parenting, making it hard to feel grounded. My name is Marcia Miller (she/her/hers), and you don’t have to navigate this alone. As a licensed psychotherapist, I can help you regulate your nervous system, reduce the impact of past traumas stored in your body, and help you identify your inner strengths. Together, we will create an action plan to break free from behaviors tied to trauma. I will work with you to deconstruct old patterns, get unstuck, build healthier relationships, reduce physical pain, and create a more fulfilling life. If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to discuss how I can support you on your healing journey. Marcia Miller, LPCC
