Introduction

Acknowledging your emotional pain and accessing help are the first steps towards wellness. You deserve the highest of praise for loving yourself and your family enough to embark on the path towards healing. I am so glad you are here! I'm a Bi-Lingual (English/Español) Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified in Perinatal Mental Health committed to empowering individuals and couples as they navigate stress which is inhibiting joy and peace during any phase of their journey through parenthood. In our work together, we can aim to challenge the pressure that society imposes on the parenting experience as being only extraordinary, blissful, and natural. These false expectations leave those experiencing a more normal range of emotions feeling worried, isolated, guilty, or like they are not enough. You are not alone! I can offer you a safe and non-judgmental space to navigate the complexity of emotions that comes with wanting or actively growing and raising a little human. If you have suffered the loss of a pregnancy or a child, together we can work to transform debilitating grief into a more peaceful and dynamic experience. We will foster presence with your emotional process and encourage your healing, allowing you to re-connect with yourself again. I believe in taking a collaborative approach, recognizing you as the expert in your own life, while guiding you on a path of safety through the pain. Investing in our wellbeing is how we can liberate our future generations. A mother who prioritizes her emotional wellbeing can then find space to attune with their baby. Attunement is where connectedness can occur between a parent and their child, and it is how we can teach children that there is safety in relationships. Caring for yourself is caring for your family. I can help you organize and work through the crippling lies of anxiety and depression so that you can: Reclaim your peace Recover your time Center your joy Make sense of loss Build a life you don't have to disconnect or recharge from As a proud Latina and mother of 3, I have a deep understanding of bicultural issues in parenting. My work is empowering of families who identify as: BIPOC / LGBTQIA+ / Child free by circumstance or choice / Family via foster care and/or adoption / Parenting outside of cisgender heteronormative structures Professional Experience: My professional career has afforded me the privilege to work extensively with and advocate for families in distress for over 12 years. I have had the honor to hold space for parents and caregivers enduring the pressure of navigating circumstances which come with: Children with special needs / Pregnancy and neonatal loss / High-risk pregnancy / Fertility Challenges / Traumatic birth experiences / NICU admissions / Trauma within the medical environment Please feel free reach out via e-mail by clicking "Contact" above or by clicking "Request Appointment" to schedule a free 15 min phone consultation, this way we can spend some time figuring out if we could be a good fit to work together. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you!
