Whether you are experiencing a life transition, a painful episode, a wish to strengthen relationships, or simply a desire to grow, engaging in therapy is often a helpful way to find support. My role as a therapist is to support and guide you while navigating life challenges, dilemmas and traumas while developing coping and management skills. I strongly believe that the relational component of therapy is the most important aspect of the work and truly enjoy working with individuals and witnessing their growth. I draw on CBT, mindful based stress reduction skills, and the Trauma Resiliency Model in my daily work. I am trained in EMDR, typically used to aid individuals process traumatic events or material. I am honored to work with adults (18 +), and elders (65+). I am happy to talk with you over the phone to see if I am the right therapist for you. Areas of familiarity include treating adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, issues surrounding life transitions, LGBTQ+, relational stressors, mood disorders and more.
