Introduction

Hi! My name is Meg, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee. I received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2017 from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master of Science in Social Work from Union University in 2019. I have also been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 25 years. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working with all ages and populations. I have experience treating people struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma/abuse, PTSD, domestic violence, and anger management. I am currently accepting individual clients (18+) for virtual therapy sessions. The primary therapy modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Brief-Solution Focused Therapy (BFSF). My approach is collaborative, and client centered. Therapy sessions will be tailored to each client's own unique needs, concerns, and strengths. My role is to identify barriers that are obstructing the healing process, help you to develop healthier coping skills, and to further promote independence. Reaching your goals will help you gain confidence, improve resiliency, and facilitate meaningful change. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
