Arise Mental Health Counseling is a place where people can breathe, process, and unload in a judgment free, grace filled atmosphere. Maggie Snyder, MSEd, LIMHP, NCC, CPC received her master's degree in counseling, from the University of Nebraska in Kearney, NE. She gained experience through an inpatient crisis center in Greeley, CO, an outpatient clinical college setting at the University of Nebraska, and through private practice. Her clinical experience and areas of focus include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, sports related stressors, trauma, attachment issues, relationship issues, grief/loss, life transitions, spirituality, substance use counseling and substance use evaluations. Maggie is also available for speaking at events on mental health topics. No one is void of difficulties in life and everyone has their own healing process. Therefore, Maggie's therapeutic approach is adaptable to meet you where you are. Her theoretical approaches are Person Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Solution Focused. Maggie's goal is to walk alongside people as they process emotions while developing a healthy self-awareness and self-acceptance to move forward on their own, with hope and confidence.
