Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering counseling to children, adolescents, and adults, with a degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from the University of Florida and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Florida International University. My areas of expertise encompass anxiety, eating disorders (including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and OSFED), sexual health, and mindfulness. I work with individuals struggling with general life stressors, change, relationships, as well as those needing a little more direction in life. As a Certified Sex Therapist, I help individuals navigate sexual functioning, sexual health, desire, arousal, anxiety related to sex, and relationship concerns. I am also an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. Additionally, I am trained as a Yoga Therapy Teacher and Children's Yoga Teacher, integrating these practices with clients open to the approach. Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I blend evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness skills to create personalized treatment plans. My diverse professional background includes roles in the Hillsborough County Public School System as a School Social Worker, Child Protective Services, the Public Defender's Office, dual-diagnosis treatment centers, personal training, and bariatric mental health therapy. I have shared my expertise through presentations on topics including bullying prevention, health and wellness, stress management, yoga therapy, and eating disorders. As the Vice President of the Tampa chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), I am committed to providing education and resources to professionals in the Tampa Bay community.
