Maria Fernanda Londono is a bilingual (Spanish- English) therapist. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, with a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of Georgia. She received the Outstanding Student Award Summa Cum Laude. After obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University, she quickly grew her experience by working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse. More recent, Maria Fernanda has worked with adults that need help with anger management, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, family issues, and/or trauma. Maria Fernanda is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS II) and has extensive experience facilitating individual/group anger management classes in the state of Georgia and abroad. Maria Fernanda’s work is centered on evidence-based practices. Previous to opening Bilingual Counseling Services, LLC., Maria Fernanda worked in a private practice for 5 years and has worked in various nonprofit agencies in different capacities - Center for Navigating Family Change (CNFC), Caminar Latino, Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center & Children’s Advocacy Center (GSAC-CAC), Rainbow Village, the Latin American Association, and Atlanta Victim Assistance Inc. Maria Fernanda is a member of the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work (GSCSW), a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), a member of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), and a member of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society.
