Dealing with daily stress while carrying the pain of past memories can feel isolating, chaotic, and overwhelming. It can lead to difficulty sleeping, focusing, and finding energy. Maybe your past has you feeling stuck in ungratifying relationships over and over. Maybe it causes you to avoid the one thing you know is needed for your growth. Maybe it makes you mad at yourself for not being able to just “snap out of it” or “move on”. Over time it can get harder to relate to loved ones, or to enjoy the things that used to bring you happiness. Life is too short to let your past control you - you deserve to live with fulfillment and hope. During sessions I create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space for you. In that space, we can explore past experiences and how they contribute to patterns of stress, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I draw from evidence-based therapies in giving you concrete skills to address those patterns. We then practice the skills at your pace towards progress. I treat adults who experience challenges with anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, and life transitions. Through my clinical knowledge of early trauma, I provide insight on how past family dynamics impact your life in the present.
