Introduction
Hello, My name is Mariah. I am the Owner and a Therapist here at Keller Child and Family Therapy. ! I love what I do because I get to work with so many different people. I am a therapist that works with from children 3 years old all the way to adults. I am a Registered Play Therapist and licensed through the State of Texas as an Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a registered Supervisor for Associates looking to become fully licensed. I believe client's know the solution to the reason for seeking support and I help them get to their desired outcome using multiple modalities such as: Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I also can use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psycho-education and Emotional Transformative Therapy, but would describe myself as primarily a Client Centered Therapist. This means I believe that YOU (not matter what age) have the solution and together we help you retrieve it! I find when the individual utilizes their own moral and values compass and internal drive vs outside influences external drive, that person will more likely change in a way that feels good to them. This increases self worth and increases motivation and this leaves the client with a more hopeful outlook on life.
