Introduction

About Me I believe therapy should feel like putting on your favorite sweater—comforting, warm, and familiar—but also a place where you feel free to grow and stretch in new ways. Life can be messy, confusing, and downright exhausting at times. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change, I’m here to walk that path with you, one step at a time. Clients often tell me they appreciate my honest, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach—sprinkled with a bit of humor, because sometimes a good laugh can be just as healing as a breakthrough moment. I’m not here to “fix” you (because you’re not broken), but to help you reconnect with your strengths and rewrite the story that brought you here. My path to becoming a therapist started with my own experiences of feeling unseen and unheard during tough times. That journey shaped my passion for helping others feel understood and empowered. I also draw on my faith to offer hope and encouragement when life feels overwhelming. Whether faith-based or secular, I honor and respect the beliefs you bring to our work. My practice is centered on helping people facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship struggles, and life transitions. You’ll find I bring a blend of evidence-based approaches—like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy—while holding space for the healing that faith can offer. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little more grounded, hopeful, and maybe even smiling. Whether you’re an individual seeking clarity, a couple wanting to rebuild connection, or a parent looking for support, I’m here to help you move forward. And if you’re a dog person, well, we’ll get along just fine. To make therapy more accessible, I offer discounted session bundles and flexible financing through CareCredit. Healing takes time, and I want to make sure you have options that support your goals without adding financial stress. Have questions?
