I am a licensed clinical social worker with 13 years of experience in the field. I obtained my master’s degree from Adelphi University 2010. Since then, I have expanded my knowledge and expertise through trainings and supervision. My approach is engaging, supportive and collaborative. I have been providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults in varies setting such as in-home, community and out patient settings for the last 13 years. I have been trained in varies evidenced based therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. As well as, Trauma Focused CBT and CBT School Refusal Model. Working with parents I utilize my training from Boys Town evidenced based program, Parenting with Common to coach you to increase desired behaviors. I completed training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and completed the Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training. The goal helping to you through this new period in your life and to adjust to your new role. Overall, I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help ground you to achieve more positive results.
