As the founder of the Center for Psychological Wellness and Change LLC, I am a licensed Psychologist in the state of PA. I completed my pre-doctoral internship training at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, PA providing clinical services in the adolescent, adult, geriatric and eating disorders inpatient units. Past clinical work includes servicing community mental health clinics, university counseling centers, outpatient clinics and private group practices. I have worked as the primary psychologist in several treatment team settings with other medical providers to provide additional psychological care in the inpatient, rehab and outpatient medical settings. I have experience conducting individual and group psychotherapy treating a diverse range of diagnoses. I have provided biofeedback services in the outpatient setting as well as conducted psychological assessments and surgical evaluations. I have presented on race and diversity at Columbia University's National Roundtable and at the National Conference of the American Psychological Association. My clinical interests and specialties include treating mood related issues such as depression and anxiety, eating disorders, race and diversity, and managing adjustments to disabilities and ongoing medical diagnoses and chronic pain through the use of effective clinically based psychotherapeutic interventions. In my practice, it is my goal to help individuals achieve happiness and emotional symptom relief through several psychotherapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral interventions, mindfulness/meditation techniques, positive coping skills and stress management techniques in a collaborative supportive and objective therapeutic relationship.
