Introduction

Do you often find yourself wondering if you can ever overcome your trauma and feel better? It seems you have tried everything, but nothing seems to work, at least not for very long. You may have even found yourself using substances and things are spiraling out of control. You're noticing changes in yourself and sometimes you worry that things could get worse. It can be scary to reach out to a counselor because you want to find someone that will really connect with you. I want you to know I am deeply passionate about being able to offer therapeutic services to individuals by providing an approach that looks at the whole person. My specialties are trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, chronic pain, LGBTQ+, transgender needs and letters for hormone and surgery assessment. I work from a functional medicine approach, I use this holistic perspective to listen to your history; looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex chronic diseases that influence your mental health. Walking alongside people as they learn to navigate their healing journey is an honor, I take very seriously. Healing can take on many forms and I'm here to help you define it for yourself. Recovery is about self-discovery, rediscovering the parts that you believe have become disconnected or lost. Authentic recovery allows you to achieve peace and satisfaction with your life. This starts with positive connections. I am here to guide you in the path of healing the root cause of your stress with positive and loving connection.
