Introduction

Welcome and Bienvenidos to a bicultural space of healing, where all are welcome. I also understand I may not be a good fit for you, and that is okay! This process is about you, and it is an intimate journey. Living through COVID-19 has changed us in almost every way. Witnessing this country wake up to the reality of racial injustice has also made welcoming safe spaces even more crucial. We are continuously dysregulating due to the external factors that trigger our bodies, emotions, and more. Quarantine slowed us down enough to face ourselves. Learning new ways to survive within ourselves eventually came with feelings of “stuckness,” lack of motivation, and being overwhelmed with grief. With this grief, it felt like there was nowhere else to go. As though the feeling of hopelessness was going to last forever. The sense of powerlessness was not going away. But just as we witnessed this country rise to find hope in the hopeless places and power in the most powerless areas, such resilience lives within when we choose to heal. The choice to heal is to go above the duality. To choose that there is clarity, compassion, connection, confidence, and more. The constant theme in my personal healing and my client’s healing was Love. The warmth and welcoming energy Love provides cultivated a safe space to heal. This was the more. As I said before, this journey is intimate, and I ask you to check with your system, with any or all parts, to see if they accept the invitation to an evolving journey of healing, healing they deserve. ¿Acceptas la invitacion? Do you accept the invitation?
