We help children and young adults experiencing anxiety, trauma and behavioral issues. Anxiety is overwhelming and difficult to deal with life when we wonder when the next panic attack might happen and prevent us from doing the things we enjoy or keep us from trying new things. When we individuals and families we get right down to business. For anxiety, we’ll teach you about the physical processes of anxiety. Then explore potential triggers, and then learn about ways to stop anxiety in its tracks to be able to live an everyday life. Trauma can be complex, painful and difficult to navigate alone. It may often feel like things will always be the way they are now. In the counseling process, we will work together to understand trauma, its effects, and what we can do to make changes that work for you and your family. Once we learn about trauma together, we then build on your strengths and face the fear together to make the changes you want to make. If you are a parent of a child with behavioral concerns, you may be feeling without hope, that there are little to no supports who understand what you are experiencing, feel lost at how you can manage these behaviors at home, and feeling defeated by all the strategies you have already tried. Whether you are someone struggling with anxiety, gone through a traumatic experience, or a family with difficult behaviors at home, we would love to hear from you and learn about your situation. I help individuals and families everyday with these issues with strategies that are shown to be effective to improve the current behaviors but also to maintain that growth longer term.
