Our practice is casual and we work hard to make you feel comfortable with your counseling experience. We believe that if you could have figured out the problem yourself, you would have, and if you're coming to us, it's because you want help, not just someone to smile and nod and say, "and how do you feel about that?" However, we also believe that you probably already have all the answers you need - all we do is help you find them. I practice traditional talk therapy as well as using EMDR, psychodrama and other action methods, play therapy, and art therapy. I may give reading, writing, or other homework assignments. We can also provide services in your home, at your office, or while hiking, dining, or walking on a gym treadmill! We are flexible and creative. We meet as frequently or infrequently as you want or need, with short or long appointments - face-to-face, over the phone, or through e-mail. We can offer appointments early, late, and on weekends!
